Renderer Cycles

General

In Blender 4.2, the “Blend Mode” option in material settings has been replaced with “Render Method”. The “Alpha Blend” mode is now represented by the “Blended” Render Method. Additionally, “Alpha Hashed” is now represented by the “Dithered” Render Method. Key Changes:

Render Method: Replaces the Blend Mode option.
Dithered: Corresponds to the former Alpha Hashed mode.
Blended: Corresponds to the former Alpha Blend mode.
Other changes: Backface Culling and Transparent Shadows options were added for shadows.

How to find the Render Method:

Select the object you want to modify.
Go to the Material Properties tab.
Scroll down to the Settings section.
Find the Render Method option.
